WiLAN Subsidiary Enters into License Agreement with Japan’s Kyocera

Ottawa-based Wi-LAN Inc., a Quarterhill Inc. company, which focuses on patent licensing and helping companies unlock the value of intellectual property by managing and licensing their patent portfolios, today announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, IPA Technologies Inc., has entered into a settlement and patent license agreement with Kyocera International, Inc. (Kyocera).  The license covers intelligent personal assistant technology. Kyocera is a Japanese multinational ceramics and electronics manufacturer headquartered in Kyoto.
